Sadly there must be a time in the next 6 months when the market is saturated and people say enough is enough. Banks and lenders from large super funds and pension funds felt the wrath last time. Retail stores as you mentioned are laughing as they get paid straight away. It won’t cripple retail however record profits will be on hold. The warning signs are there Gerry Harvey hasn’t really been promoting his funded interest free recently as why would you when other companies are knocking each other over to give them money. Gerry is raking in the profits and when this all turns to doo doo Gerry will ramp up his self funded interest free and charge whatever rates he wants once again becoming the lending wizard.
