I think there will be a good opportunity for long term holders to top up in the near term, as there still appears to be a fundamental misunderstanding of the capital requirements and profitability of the business.
Afterpay is a well funded capital light machine turning its book over >15x per year and even noted in their last report that the company is not materially affected by a possible higher interest rate environment.
This is starting to remind me of the “world is falling apart and Afterpays users will default” argument from last year.
