    It's amazing how the share price correction of a stock which had risen almost 300% from its pre-COVID high (1900% from it's post COVID low) brings out all of the ill informed comments that Afterpay is a company that makes no profit and is going to go back to somewhere between 0-$20. As has been explained tirelessly on many of these threads, Afterpay ANZ is already extremely profitable and it is the investment in massive overseas expansion which has been a drag on overall Group profitability. This can be very easily seen in the following table:

    It is quite timely that another gold standard ASX growth stock (Xero) reported today. Xero did not report positive EBITDA until its 7th year of operations, while Afterpay has been EBITDA positive essentially from day dot. Anyone who has an understanding of running a start up, let alone one which is expanding rapidly on a global scale, knows how incredibly impressive that is.
