I am a millennial and have never owned a credit card, nor used afterpay.
Then this weekend I was shopping at YD and ended up deciding to buy a bit more than expected. I could have afforded to pay for it on the spot but thought I would try afterpay seeing as I am a shareholder. Within 2 minutes I was able to download the app in store, sign up and make my purchase with no hassles. It now allows me to use funds for other things as I get paid monthly.
Extremely simple interface and is really nice to have other payment options. I can definitely say I would use it again for medium-large purchases.
For what it’s worth, I also spoke to the store salesperson and they swore by the improvements afterpay had made to their sales.
