According to my 21 year old daughter "Afterpay is everywhere dad"
"Have you heard of Oxipay?" I asked forlornly
"What's that dad?"
So my daughter works in fashion retail and has never heard of Oxipay yet she trawls through every fashion chain around.
According to said daughter, the fashion oracle, many of her friends have $thousands on Afterpay. Even said daughter has used Afterpay in a cash emergency - get paid tomorrow but I need the dress tonight!!!!!!!
Afterpay has captured the imagination of consumers and retailers and the reason, I believe, that the FXL SP has tanked.
My only hope is in Feb'18 all the in hock consumers start to renege on repayments and the Afterpay auditors have a good look at the true collectability of the receivables which I presume don't get charged back to the retailer.
