Results out today are encouraging. However, I wonder about long term viability of the business model for Zipmoney compared to Afterpay. From a customer perspective, Afterpay does not charge a fee to consumers when purchasing and do not charge interest. Zipmoney charges a monthly sevice fee and interest charge after the 3 month free period. Surely customers will therefore prefer Afterpay as will merchants.
