With a project pay back of 1.5 Years I would have felt CNQ was a no brainer for funding without a capital raising (Announcement dated 28 Aug)
Also with Iron ore & Coal expansions on hold/deferred there should be investment funds available.
Takeover. Considering the Independent scoping study detailed in the 28 Aug announcement I would suggest CNQ is venerable but Dr Leon with his 12.27% stake would need to be convinced.
Last time I spoke to Jim Morgan he was in China and was very positive.
I am also forming the impression we have a seller holding the CNQ price down.
I am still optimistic but becoming very frustrated.
