I dont think WOW are recession proof. They are certainly recession resistant given how far they have come in terms of business model, supply chain and superior management.
Who knows what the short term may bring in terms of price...but to pick up this well oiled machine in times of fear and sell off sentiment will pay off when those looking in the rear view mirror finally realise that business does not stop during these times.
A company that expands and frantically, with a revamp of store branding, new stores, new initiatives - are well positioned.
