I can see your point, and I realise that COP is under stress, but, as CN said, why do they care where the money is coming from whether it's from WPL or FAR if the amount is the same?
The only thing that would make a difference would be if the actual amount is different, favouring one party. So if the amount is different, there must be a hidden adjustment buried. Different companies would bury facts for different reasons and usually Tax is one of them, secret deals compensation via a different project for instance, a case of I scratch your back you scratch mine.
Really Cos's argument that FAR couldn't have PE'ed was not valid. If that was the case, why would you complicate things, why would you not make an PE offer and if FAR couldn't do it, then that would be the end. It's the ulterior motive! and I hope the 3 amigos can see that!
