Another typical Monday with no direction
Yes AGE finished 1 pip lower on 6.7c. The volume was decent, over 28m shares traded.
ASX U stocks too were in wilderness. Of the 19 stocks that I track, average decline was 2%.
We got a good announcement today, but the general market sentiment and U sector as well is quite poor at this stage. A good announcement was practically brushed aside. Though today was not the day for it to be recognised, it adds to the arsenal, and when things improve, it will be counted.
What next - All eyes on US markets tonight. After a big red, then medium red, followed by very slight green, we head now to the 4th day of this sequence. You would think we should get a medium green as per sequence, but sentiment is still not great. Quite a few pundits still suggesting that there could be some more downside. If there is more downside, US may point towards recession - which I don't think will be a good outcome to solve inflation. So I feel some sanity will prevail. Lets hope so. All the best.
