Just the beginning of the Four Corners expose had me immediately in tears ,
uncontrollable tears! This is Australia one of the wealthiest countries in the
world and we treat our seniors that way!

I am just so glad we were able to have the good fortune for my own elderly
parents to never experience such neglect. They lived a happy quality
life in their own home right up to their passing. Thank the good Lord they had
plenty of attention and and help when they needed it!

But for hundreds of thousands that scenario is not always possible and they should
be able to see out their days in at least reasonable care.

Please just please get on with the task immediately to respect our senior citizens, our
mums our dads are relatives and friends generally.

Also please make sure that those that do treat our seniors properly are not judged by
those that do not do the right thing. They are the decent saints who merit great praise.
Also, lets not assume all the neglect is due to laxity by the staff in the industry because
many are working under impossible conditions.

The minority who do show cruelty should go to jail!
