It's institutionalised cruelty. The staff are implicated whether they want to or not...because of the impossible ratios of staff to residents.

72 residents to one staff member is ridiculous.  

The absurd notion that the companies need flexibility and don't want mandated staff to resident ratios needs to be exposed for the sham that it is.

The worst thing right now is the cynical manipulation of Morrison saying we'll have a Royal Commission.

I mean, there have been many Senate enquiries, reviews on a State level, reports, submissions etc etc etc.

THEY KNOW what the problem is. Morrison is just buying time for the industry, and votes for himself.

Appearing to do something whereas he opposed the RC into banks right up to the last gasp.

Speaking of which people are dying of neglect and malnutrition.

We donate to starving people in foreign nations and cannot rouse ourselves to stop this outrage happening to our elders.
