The current aged care system here in Australia is a disgrace, an absolute disgrace. Unless you have a great deal of money and can afford one of the expensive top of the range aged care homes ( you know, the ones all our aged Politicians will end up in) they are nothing more than warehouses for the dying. There is no standard of living what so ever. The Government has allowed aged care to become a business, just like our healthcare. Anything that becomes a business is only concerned with the bottom line and not the welfare of its customers. Why can't our politicians see that?
