I recently attended a Birthday Function for my elderly mother, who was in the local Catholic Nursing home. She was turning 100 years old, so it was s special occasion and a lot of people turned up.
Whilst sitting with my mother a friend of hers and another tenant approached us, and said to my mother "Is this you son?"
"Yes, Mabel, this is my son, little Johnny." my mother replied.
The lady tenant said . "Hello Johnny, how old are you?"
To which I replied "I turned 81 years old last month."
The lady just shook her head and said "They sure grow up fast nowadays, don't they?"
