    I wonder though at what point they would make the decision of that was to happen. The initial bid and scheme or the on market takeover etc.

    I could see it being a BPT majority and left as ITC, let the takeover lapse and when it does they can relaunch the takeover for the remaining shares to let VPE and BPT negotiate the terms and then we all miss out.
