think every1 believes the horse has bolted with coal fire power stations but i beg to differ...
just look at coal price atm to understand how in demand coal still remains....
renewables are the future yes i agree as done any1 with sense...
10yrs+ 15 yrs + who knows with renewables but mainly to do with large scale batteries avail to replicate coal fire power assets.
Next 5 yrs will aus need coal fire power???? I dont thinn any1 could say no... wouldnt rule out the size and reliability of coal fire power very quickly...
these assets surely be still used until there expected shutdown 2033ish dates....
Aus not very good at doing anything quick plus cheap unfornately... probably why we have no real manufacutring or other way round...
