If you take into account land use per unit of energy, so called "green energy" is much,much worse than coal and if you take into account that coal is very realible stable sourcein comparisson to wind&solar (which means you have to have much more reserve power when using them (again land use and all other environmental costs associated) and that you need much heavier and much more branched electrical grid iwhen using renewables(again land use and all other environmental costs associated) than true environmental costs of so called "green energy" is really astoundingly higher than for coal. Not to speak of massive costs for citizens in way of much higher electricity prices, less realible etcsupply and higher taxes needed to subsidize not just renewables directly, but also many other connected issues (much costlier grid, acces infrastructure to every single tiniest details unrealiable power plant etc. )
