The downtrend will continue until there is a change of sentiment. That will happen when we get an earnings upgrade.
There is no point of buying every dip and getting excited about a small rally now and then.
Obviously, after every sellout, there is a short pause, a dead cat bounce. And then in continues...
Energy stock like this can have a peak to bottom 1:20 in a cycle. I would not be surprised SP goes down to 2$, and back to previous peak in the next 10 years.
It's just money, a number on the screen. If stock market is too stressful, get a mortgage. Those can be pretty predictable. Though, you'll buy one house for yourself and another one for the bank.
