Did you read the ASX release? It has a list of who JPM borrowed the shares from to short sell

You can also see they were buyers of shares in the months before .

Still say you need to devote too much time to work out if they are net short or long but there is this thing called hedging

One thing in JPMs favor is he has a bank full of cash to back anything you throw at him and pile on cash till you run out of cash then he totally cleans you up . I bet that day he has a photo shoot of him with his foot on their backs and arms raised .

If it was me I would want AGL for cheap but it can be done two ways grind into the dust, or make profits on a rising price greater than the cost to buy AGL , I am going with they will short and buy them back ,but it has one flaw . Its public knowledge they have swaps and bought shares so will they play what is expected to be done

Also they have tranches of bets so short one long the next etc . If each succeeds your rolling in it .

Maybe its just a way of owning all the shares at the current price without paying say $12 I think the board will support

I am sure their is 100 ways to play this and adapt as the game evolves , so your trying to sit in on a card game with whales and told to clear of sunny and leave your cash , its will be ours sooner or later
