Whereas ALP a intervenes, that is why all the AGL some of whom were ex Labor staffers do so much work lobbying and talking with Government. Less established companies competing with the much bigger AGL will clearly struggle with a more highly regulated more political environment in the energy industry and the industry environment that AGL will face under Labor.
It will not be easy for corporates and energy players but for AGL it might be a little easier to deal with the higher regulation.
