Finally some good news for AGL after a tumultuous couple of years for investors. Glad I haven't yet sold out and hopefully the bid is at a decent premium so that I can end up breaking even or nearly break even.
Brookfield has a deeper pocket and size and scale to take AGL faster into the a cleaner energy future. They also seem more confident to make a move now that energy prices have been solid and recovered in the last half year or so. Glad the move wasn't made opportunistically when AGL hit just over $5.
