Anybody curious as to why Andy Vesey jumped ship from AGL and returned immediately to the US. I have heard rumours of the possibility that after ScoMo took over from Malcolm there were rumblings about a Royal Commision into power availability, pricing and power distribution. I have also heard rumours that a certain company that owns and operates Liddell and Bayswater Powerstations sold every electron of "available" renewable energy (and a fair bit that was never produced) and therefore pocketed huge government subsidies leading to a record profit in 2017-2018 and prior.
How do we tell what electricity we used was produced by renewables. Answer- we can't. Are we to believe that all power produced by the coal fired powerstations went to earth but none of the renewables and if it did why did not AGL supply it to the market at the lower cost to consumers.
Where was the big stick under Malcolm!! Somebody in government knew!!
