they are focusing on trying to establish energy hubs in an effort to avoid the alternative costs associated with closing down the coal plants and restoring the land properly... as Christos has said... its a massive expense which is provisioned for... but NOT FUNDED

Considering almost all of the PPAs that AGL has suffered from were assets that they developed and originally had on balance sheet themselves... its not the renewable assets that are to blame, but management & board - they priced to the PPAs and setup PowAR co in the first place.
