regardless of how you obtained the AGL shares they are not 'free'.
At a minimum they represent a part of your capital wealth and hence their position represents an opportunity cost on your capital.
Surprised that someone at an 'executive' level doesn't understand these basic principals.
Just goes to show in my opinion, how did you say it Diddycat: shares gravitate to those who deserve them.
