'Our view is we have that technology, it is groundbreaking, and our company and our shareholders are prepared to spend money to prove that on scale, and I think that is the difference,'' he said.'

The credible Victorian Media are only interested in quoting Exergen about the brown coal Pilbara it seems. Why?

Exergen boss Trevor Bourne is 100% right.

There are literally dozens of brown coal upgrade techs. The critical point of difference between exergen and the rest of a melbourne cup size filed of dreamers is that exergen have unmatched global scale expertise and financial backing from its OWNERS - tata, itochu, sedgman, thiess & dale elphinstone.

the oakajee debacle in WA has effectively ended the chance of junior players ever being entrusted with major mining infrastrucure projects in Australia again. The infrastructure required to unlock BC exports from the LV is similar to Oakajee.

For this reason Ted Baillieu and Martin Ferguson are rightly focused on exergen to deliver them a 'brown coal pilbara' for the simple reason that they are the only Victorian BC players who can.

but this has been known for years.

Exergen's S7 allocation was agreed behind the scenes in 2009:
