Any government is only as good as its opposition. Unfortunately Federal Liberals have proven themselves to be obstructionist rather than constructive, which has only hurt the nation, as it hasn't allowed us to make any progress on taxation, housing or energy reform.
NSW Liberals were actually quite good for some period and demonstrated they were willing to be quite centrist with policies - which resulted in a net benefit to NSW citizens.
For all the bashing Labor copped for the NBN, I think anyone with a Netflix/Streaming subscription or who works from home would agree that it was beneficial nation building exercise.
The transition to renewables will be another such exercise that future generations will wonder why there was even an argument..
