companies such as AGL with reliable coal generators will make good profit if electricity prices rise to pay for the increase cost associated with dependable renewable generation and storage.

Also AGL is on track for annual profit above $660 million. They reported $330 million for first half and stated they expected second half to be higher. AGL is cheap on a PE basis, and the end of the financial year is approaching.

Hopefully we get back to $12 when end of year results are announced.
