My thoughts are exactly the same.

I feel like without the west zone this project may have been up the creek with current cobalt prices. If not then very borderline.

Management knew this after further investigation and changed tact. Deciding to focus on west shallow / high grade.

Grinding down to 6 micron is ridiculous, and underground mining on these angles is also very difficult. The widths are ok but its just not practical.

Question now is, will the remaining west zone drills prove up with size / depth and grade like the first batches. If yes then open pit and roasting is going to make this project very much feasible even at lower prices than we have today.

I feel like right now the dummy has well and truly been spat out of the cot. I for one needed to re-assess my expectations in the near term on this one. I believe this will get to mine but will not be with Celsius at the helm.
