I know this is long game but I was under the impression that there was to be a constant flow of announcements since we were advised of same in March. I emailed the company some months ago and was advised that they were reviewing their communications strategy. I just think they could be doing this so much better (like I've heard many here write). For instance why not individually announce new signed contracts or other operational highlights. Surely this can be done in a positive way that is not giving away competitive advantage and really build the positive news stories no matter how small. Other companies do it all the time. I also think that social media is sometimes used where the information could quite easily shared with the broader market/potential shareholders rather than the select few that are already interested enough to subscribe. Anyway I followed up last week and received a response from the company earlier in the week as follows (in part)
"As I’m sure you can appreciate, this is a busy time for Admedus as we recently closed off our Financial year and are now full-steam ahead planning for our AGM on 16 November and the next quarter.
The Admedus communications strategy is still under development but we are making great strides behind the scenes which will have a flow-on effect to our shareholders in due course."
Whilst not really what I wanted to hear, I appreciate the rapid response and the fact that they are acknowledging (perhaps) that they could do things better. I would encourage anyone with similar concerns to ask these questions of the company and perhaps in doing so reinforce the frustration felt by many.
