Well that was a pretty good AGM. No violence, no casualties. Just some quick highlights from my notes.

Confident of deals by Q2

China. Changes in regulatory means CFDA will accept applications on international trial data without China trials if there are enough ethnic Chinese in the study. We have 10% in our trials which is enough. CN registration does not require the drug be registered elsewhere. China can go first on that data. MRIs really started to drive CN interest.

OA deals in US and EU. Don’t want to push this too early bc an early deal before data is clear leaves too much on the table. So they are not yet going after these deals. But, they are nevertheless fielding incoming enquiries. Their preferred partners are likely from mid tier pharma rather than the biggest, because licensing requires whole of company attention and big pharma have tight bounds on therapeutic space and other attributes for their licensing. Mid tier are more nimble. They point out that mid tier pharma are still very big companies.

Regional MPS. Don’t expect big up front numbers but the back end can be very big.

Paused development of auto injector due to cash. Right choice.

No one thinks it’s likely the FDA will ask us to repeat early 1.5mg dose safety trials with our 2mg Phase III dose. I think this is quite unlikely. Generally good feeling in the room although Paul laments the share price.

I had a good long chat with Paul afterwards about mechanisms of actions which was really interesting. my wife grabbed their BDM to talk about the difficulties of retaining your ip in China. A good experience. We still have a way to go to get out from underwater though.

I love Melbourne in summer. Cold windy and raining. Italian cafés do go a long way to making up for it though.

Are you saying PAR has made sure there are ethnic Chinese included in our trials to date and at least 10%?
