It always seems curious to me that Directors can justify giving themselves (and others) 45 million free shares to 'align their interests with those of shareholders'.

Why has their salary, previous freebies and their obligation under the Corporations Act to act in the interests of shareholders not already generated a satisfactory 'alignment of interest'?

Diluting the value of my shares by a further 7% after all the previous dilutions by giving themselves millions of additional freebies does not immediately align with my interests as an existing shareholder at all. Neither does setting the level at 10 cents do anything for my interests.

Buying some shares on market would constitute an 'actual' sharing of 'interest'. Picking up more freebies only generates 'sharing of interest' to the same extent that any parasite has a shared interest with its host.
