Cowboy, your frustation is understandable. My hackles always rise when I see Directors awarding themselves free options, at whatever exercise price, specially when the vast majority of shareholders are underrwater or certainly not in a positive situation in times like these.
One can go to AGMs and complain, as I have done on many occasions, once even calling for, and getting, a poll on the subject, but it never achieves anything much.
However, on this occasion, I won't be raising any objections because over many years JT has kept himself and fellow directors on a tight leash. They have not continually sought to enrich themselves while we shareholders sit and fume. Sorry, but, in view of the blood, sweat and tears that have been shed over this project, if they can get it going and there is a carrot to help them see the way, all to the good.
