Just after the technical announcement was issued in November there was a lot of negative sentiment placed on the statement "As there is no established market for Storage Class Memory" along with the speculation they had to beg Imec to re-enter a new collaboration agreement byway of giving 8% royalty Cap as a deal sweetener. And old saucy boi being correct/not correct.
Todays answers to why the statement was included and what the deal is with the IMEC 8% royalty Capp were very reassuring further revealing the investor speculation of the announcement were incorrect in this area.
Also the etching looks to be business as usual and just another box to tick. I get the sense that its a 95% success rate and not much to worry about.
The answer regarding the Dram VS 4DS Speed difference and the fact the 4DS chip doesn't need the same level of speed due to it not having to re-write constantly like Dam makes sense and appears to give the guys behind 4DS reassurance in their position to disrupt the Dram market.
