It may be an effort to soften attitudes before the AGM, but I don't see anything wrong with this. Intelligent communication between management and shareholders can only help increase our understanding of where things stand (provided those shareholders share). Critics of this should look at the other side.. the risk that management are opening themselves up to. e.g. someone like jase might just say "Steven, before this meeting you told a group of us that XXXXX, could you restate that now for the benefit of all shareholders who were not present then".
