1) Trophon is now being referred by sonographers & clinicians as a verb - i.e. have you 'trophoned' the .... similar to how housewives referred to hoover a long time ago
2) Currently no competitors and 3 levels of barriers to competitive entry exists for chemistry, device and consumables:
a) patents
b) path to regulatory approval (especially for any new chemistry as this could take many years), and
c) with so many different ultrasound devices, testing & getting approvals from all the different manufacturers is very costly
3) We have 2 new products in the pipeline which are due for release in 2018/19 timeframe. Both these products will have markets as large as the current Trophon and ultrasound market for HLD.
A lot of blue sky with proven technology/ chemistry which will continue to have large barriers to entry.
