I am sorry but you cannot justify the price of the transaction on 'nothing happened in the past' or 'I trust Dennis to get on with the job'. That is like saying an orange plus an apple is equal to a clown hat at the circus, and makes just as much sense.
I think Dennis is likely to get on with the job too, but I have yet to see one rational, logical argument to justify the PRICE (which is half the company) for the assets we are acquiring.
And judging by the market reaction and current SP I am not the only person thinking that.
