Short termers would be selling IMO. With the AGM granting a LOT more shares for the register (assuming it passes) you know what that does to share price. For short term I see it as lose lose.
If Middlemas gets his shares the company's long term prospects have a chance. However, the shares on issue is piling up.
If Middlemas doesn't get his shares then the shares on issue is unchanged and no dilution, but no Middlemas so no long term.
....Plus the market is down 3%.
At a guess I'd say EQX is going to Canada.
