My gut feel is they’ll want the case for approval bulletproof but it will still be subject to question if it is not run to completion.

If the trial stops at 60% for efficacy you'd expect the data to be one-sided and very clear. The data required to reach that point was decided before the trial started.

While it would be great in the longer term to gain EU approval, it's probably not something they're chasing in the short term because the demand for the cells will outstrip supply in the US market alone for many months.
