The justification for the rise seems to be that they haven't had one since 1997!!!!

It is proposed that Directors Fees be increased collectively from $55,000 p.a. to a maximum $150,000 p.a. This is the first increase proposed since November 1997 and represents an increase of $95,000 p.a. in total.
