No, I don't agree it was a lie. More so a change in business strategy. Happens all the time in business. That's what you and Hunterr find so hard to grasp. But I do agree it could of been handled through better communication.

No, I don't agree it was a lie, and i don't agree that Meir was deliberately trying to mislead shareholders. More so, I believe they underestimated the costs involved. In reality, projects run over budget all the time. Look at government infrastructure projects as an example - always over budget. Even in the corporate sector. For instance, I am working on an IT project for a global multi billion dollar company which is currently running over budget. Startups in particular are not immune from this. What's more , SAS is an advanced start up company where they are building (and have built) their IP from scratch!
Cut them some slack!
