Re China: just heard Gerald Celente (financial world trends guy in US) on ABC radio coming home. He emphasised the shift to Trump protectionist politics (brace for higher USD and lower other currencies to repay debts in USD etc)... also, as US is leaving trade agreements (eg Trans Pacific Partnership), China is stitching business deals all over the place e.g at APEC just days ago it signed 14 new trade agreements with Puru. In short, Celente recommended buying in on everything Chinese ATM.
This, in part, is good news for our little Aussie Alpaca battler that seems to be punching above its weight on the commodities front... So Dooze, I look forward to hearing what the good doctor has to say about 'the reason' for our China connection.
