Oaky67...I enjoyed every word of your account.

Im terribly happy for you. Yes I try and also be a realist and say that not everyone gets the wonderful effect you got...I know of only one patient that hasn't really had any meaningful difference at least symptomatically...but you know what, they are in the vast minority (some approx 12%...ok call it 15% (you know who is reading this...hint: AM!)) get NO benefit...and you know what? If you get no benefit there is no down side..why wouldn't everyone in pain at least try this once?

The other beautiful thing we will one day see is that some percentage start taking it as a complete prophylactic...in advance to ward off any micro fissures....in advance of slowly increasing inflammatory levels...in advance that their Blood Pressure is gently trending up over time......compelling. Just imagine some of those hard core atheletes taking it as they have falls bumps and bruises...yes Im talking much further down the track now but it's not impossible. Some of the smarter ones will understand that the destruction happens the moment the injury takes place, the ramifications of this may not show up until ten years from the event...

I also remember (feintly!) Torpy once commenting on here about the chance of a biomarker kit if you will, a biomarker assay.....you could go in for a yearly test and check your bloods and search for a few like CTXII and CMC, maybe level of ARGS...and if it trends up...might be time for a course of the juice that is magical...iPPS?!

Torpy's comment back on 5/4/21: My emphasis in burgundy)

"Really interesting to ponder the usefulness of biomarker data. The possibility of identifying/treating at-risk patients or those in the very early stages of the disease. It helps avoid unnecessary degradation to a point where the pain increases to a moderate/severe level (whereas it may be prevented at a low level of severity or prior to chronic disease). This increases our potential market in the process.

Extrapolating backwards in time even further - given the recent success of stockmarket darlings Rhythm(RHY) and Bard1(BD1) and the emergence of biomarker assaying and AI for early detection of disease (in their cases various cancers), perhaps we can build a significant proprietary database over time and develop an algorithm to detect and even quantify/categorise OA. While not as life threatening as cancer, early detection (before symptoms) and treatment may result in much better outcomes over the long term. RHY started with up to 60 blood biomarkers and have gotten it down to 1 primary and 4 adjunct biomarkers and now have a simple blood test that is more accurate than the FIT (poo) test for screening colorectal cancer. These diagnostic companies are worth $250-$300M with no revenue (with upside on MC when commercialised), and no method to treat the disease - just identifying risk. Diagnostics can be a big business, and the beauty of us identifying OA early would be that we can also offer the solution! A nice symbiotic business line. Just dreaming aloud."

There is evidence already out there of getting PPS early. We saw it in the micro fissures, the channels of cartilage splintering in the donkeys. We saw the difference between the active and the PBO group?

    Reminder?
The first pic is control, the second after PPS...notice how there are no deep cartilage channel fissures...

Please, let's go to a more cheerful place Mozz...sure, let's take a lil' look at the PPS donkeys, yeah the ones that after a few months have a bit of a skip in their stride (enthusiastic leading statement).

Someone the other day suggested to me that once we are selling this and are fully approved, there may be no stopping at least some Doc's prescribing it for a bit longer (ie greater than the recommended course of say 6 weeks) to see if they can derive some or additional benefit. That makes a whole lot of sense IF the safety profile is intact.

This will be very compelling for us all...The repeat business is huge in itself. No one that gets a meaningful pain relief over a duration like yours Oaky67 is going to have much hesitation in getting a repeat dose every now and again.

I was fortunate enough to do Base Camp a number of years ago and when I was done I had some pain while coming down stairs, luckily it subsided eventually after a number of months, I didn't take anything for it...but I remember the pain and to have that virtually instantly relieved if iPPS was available....that's gold. Pure and simple.

Its been at least 5 years, I only had pain prob around 4 out of 10 on the scale...but I won't forget that...ever.

I thank you most sincerely for your account. it means even more to me when our sp finds itself this low. I just need to disconnect the sp even more and hold on ... just hold on.

We are already in December, the months are flying past....tell me when we achieve the next milestone..there are a few to come!
