The delay for the BFS was mentioned in the last report ...

"Consequently a programme of testwork specifically aimed at determining the viability of the ore to be bulk processed via heap leach processing has commenced and will take approximately two months to complete. Following completion, the pre-feasibility part of the overall study will be finalised and definitive feasibility completed. Subsequently the detailed engineering work has been scheduled back by a few months. The significant advantage of processing via heap leach is a substantial reduction in overall capital costs which should translate to a material improvement in project economics and a broadening of financing options"

The benefit of heap leaching is massively important to BMN, as it will drastically reduce the initial CAPEX required.

With the financial crisis as it is, this is a positive evelopement, and the extra engineering trials are well worth waiting for IMO.
