you are right that California is going to add a lot of business to the Redflex book this month, hard to quantify how much exactly. Your estimate of 100 would appear to be conservative but even at that figure it would then mean that Redflex would have over 500 installations contracted in the US.

Not only will that make them the leader in the digital red light camera market in the US as you have said, it will also catapult them into outright leadership in the US over ACS who presently has just over 400 mainly old wet film installations. A great effort and the boost to profitability will certainly snowball in the half yearly and yearly figures from now on. I believe those Intersuisse figures you mention will prove to be very conservative. These Californian contracts that the Redflex technology seems to have a stranglehold on must be proving pretty lucrative looking at those November revenue figures, the big jump in revenue coincided with a number of Californian sites being added to the revenue stream.

By the way, did you notice that guy from Shaws at the AGM?, he was looking pretty interested.

Excellent result from the Share Purchase Plan, more than double last year's figure, that will make any placement now pretty hard to get into and I would believe pretty tightly rationed as they only now want a maximum of another $2.4million.
According to the company guys at the AGM they are now seeing a lot more interest from brokers and the smaller institutions. This Redflex revenue is real annuity type income from top quality government clients, exactly what the instos are looking for.
