Seeing and speculation without fact has become so popular in the past few days, and replicating the style adopted by some journalists, I offer the following my speculation for The purposes of some light relief.

A long long time ago (about a week) in a galaxy far far away (Sydney) the Empire (Randomly pick almost any large broker) use the dark side to uncover weakness in a growing company (Big or any other small cap they want cheap shares from) to help those lost to the dark side ( shorters and lazy journos ) drive the SP down. Private research is commissioned by OM to seek any failure or short coming in governance.

• Shorters strangely take up positions against a small company that’s had huge SP growth.
• An article is published (today’s chip wrapper) claiming stock is being issued at massive discounts (not reflecting in the huge growth since deals were signed).
• Shorters load the sell side with shares
• small holders panic and follow the herd and sell.
• About 700,000 shares are sold within seconds of the market open and the SP drops $1.
