Surprised no one has mentioned the fact that the placement resolution was withdrawn. Not because of ASX rules but because a "major shareholder" (I asked and they said it was Huayou...What a surprise) didn't want it to go ahead. I think someone is worried about losing the box seat for taking over the asset.

They did mention even without that resolution they had $50m or so they could issue under existing capacity. The way Nigel spoke was mentioning "them/they" alot and as if something was in the making. I asked about a placement to a huayou competitor and they said "there are options on the table". Given the capping around the 25c VWAP may not be that large of a surprise...
