I done as you suggested. Additionally I asked for a choice of a webinar type which is often used and microphones been connected. This way we can be muted but also type questions in and participate. I wouldn't expect all questions to be answered if inundated, but it would allow a FAQ and answers to be then emailed out to all registered for this.
this would be ideal and bring these meetings into the current era of communication
