You are so right about EGO having bad karma, it is now dead meat, and you are also on the money with KN1 and Bonaparte progress. If it was up to me, I would dump the Bonaparte lease like a rocket for any price.
I still feel that a rig slot announcement will be forthcoming in December.
After all it is only a commitment, not an actual drill.
Weather would possibly play a part with timing. Would drilling be possible in July/Aug off Sydney?
As far as a JV partner for Advent, maybe the Chinese would consider. It won't cost too much to join the game and the possible rewards are enormous.
An announcement may be just round the corner.
