In an MMR statement issued some weeks back they said they were talking to international parties re a JV for PEP 11. I believe this to be the case with no Aussie com involved, and the likely parties imo are from China.
In regards to the amount of gas to be produced along the east coast of OZ, the first lot of gas from the Gladstone area is more likely to be in 2012 at earliest and that would not effect any finds in the PEP 11 should they drill and find gas within the next 6 months.
Keeping my eye on all companies involved in PEP 11 and hoping for a drilling date prior to xmas.
