Like those posters above said, bioprosthetic valves require anticoagulation therapies for 3-6 months.
My mate got a mechanical heart, which I gather last forever. The trade-off is you're on Warfairn for life as well. For mechanical valves, not bioprosthetic valves.
If you review WP presentations, our valve is expected to have the same level of complications as competitors.
